Coaching FAQ

Can I take payment on the booking page?
Not yet — bookings themselves don't charge a payment method today. Most coaches handle invoicing separately (e.g. Stripe Invoice, bank transfer, or a payment link sent in the confirmation email's redirect). We're evaluating native payment-on-booking; if this is a blocker for you, get in touch.
Can I run a multi-coach practice where clients pick their coach?
Yes. Each coach has their own booking page (with their own bio, photo, and calendar), or you can set up a team page that lets the client pick. Round-robin is also available on Standard if you'd rather assign automatically by load.
What if a client cancels last-minute?
The slot reopens automatically and you can configure a minimum cancellation notice (e.g. 'no cancels within 12h'). Cancellation reason is captured optionally so you can spot patterns. Refund handling for any payment is managed in your invoicing tool, not SailLab today.
Do clients need to install anything?
Nothing. They click your booking link, pick a time, and get a calendar invite with the video conference URL (Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams — auto-generated). No app, no signup, no friction.
